Some even became instant fan favorites, like Cassie Cage. Some of these new characters will return, and some of them will be voiced by celebrities, such asRonda Rousey. but only because certain fighters were includedMortal Kombat Xor previous work, which doesn't necessarily guarantee them a place in the latest work.
fans ofMortal Kombat 11There's been speculation about what the final roster will look like. fan favoriteMortal KombatSince The World was generally considered safe, not everyone made it to the latest issue. We can only hope that NetherRealm will bring back at least some of these characters in future DLC. The official list is atMortal KombatThe site leaves a few spots locked for special content, but the lineup for the core game has been revealed, and it's a shame we won't be playing the characters anytime soon.
Ermac is a playable character that first appears inUltimate Mortal Kombat 3. Affectionately known as "Mac" by Johnny Cage, Ermac represents a unique warrior. His body is filled with the souls of many who died in the alien war. Elmark often refers to himself as "we" because of the large number of characters that live within him. And because there are so many souls, he also has telekinesis, teleportation and other abilities. These special abilities make him a favorite choice for players everywhere.
Ermac has been a regular in the series since its debut, and has appeared in 12 different editions of the series, from games to comics to mobile games. fans needless to saythe seriesVery familiar with this character and his many souls. Because of this, players might be surprised to learn that Elmak won't be part of the Warriors' core roster.Mortal Kombat 11. We can only hope that all of Ermac's souls will take the form of this new incarnation.Mortal Kombatinstallment.
Fela and Thor
One of the latest additionsMortal Kombatstable is actually a buy two get one free deal. Ferra and Torr were first introduced inMortal Kombat XFight as an odd couple. Fela is petite and quick, while Thor is massive and can deal a lot of damage with brute force. Together the two form a symbiotic relationship somewhat reminiscent of Big Daddy and Little Sisterbioshock. Fela's ability to catch unsuspecting prey off guard with quick and precise strikes makes her a force to be reckoned with. But coupled with Thor's massive size, which allows him to use his strength to level any opponent, the two are incredibly powerful.
With the release of the list of matchesMortal Kombat 11Fans may not have noticed the mysterious absence of the deadly duo of Ferrar and Thor. Since they weren't major characters in the series to begin with, it's unlikely their fan base will be as big as a character like Johnny Cage, but their absence is still surprising. Their humorous dialogue and unique gameplay potential could be future DLC options. One can only hope.
thisMortal KombatThe game is full of characters who turn their physical weaknesses into strengths. This is where Swordsman Takahashi comes in. Although the swordsman is invisible, this warrior can use his other senses and abilities, becoming a deadly killing machine in a pinch. first appeared onultimate mortal kombatIn 2007, Kenshi frequently wields his sword "Battle Sword", which imbues the spirit of the samurai king of his bloodline. Because of this, Kenshi is mentored by these warrior kings in battle. His lack of vision doesn't slow him down, as he can use his keen senses and Sento's guidance to spot those around him. Even a well-trained assassin like Zero has difficulty dodging Kenshi in a fight.
In addition to his unique abilities, Kenshi is one of the manyMortal KombatStarted a new generation of character fighters. Takeda Takahashi is the son of Kenshi and Suchin. Although his mother died when he was relatively young, Takeda has become a fierce rival and another beloved character in the series. Unfortunately, both Kenshi and Takeda are absentMortal Kombat 11battle list.
Kung Lao has always been a fan favoriteMortal Kombatsince his first appearance in the franchiseMortal Kombat 2. Because of this, it only made sense for us to give him more backstory later in the game. existMortal Kombat X, Kong Jin was introduced as Kong Lao's cousin. Kim, a thief turned honorable fighter, was impressive in his brief debut. His ego and attitude help him stand out from the other fighters in the series. His penchant for the bow adds an added bonus to this fighter's already long list of desirable attributes.
Although Kong Jin only appears inMortal Kombat X, it may come as a surprise to some fans that he won't be in the coreMortal Kombat 11Games as playable characters. Kim was rumored to be making a cameo in the latest installment, but given his time inMortal Kombat X, he didn't come back, which is very unusual. Although players will take on the role of Kong Lao, the cousin of another Shaolin monk, Jin's unique abilities and biting banter will be missed.
if there is aMortal KombatA warrior who has great dissatisfaction with her origin is Melina, the genetic experimenter. Melena, a clone of Kitana created using Shang Tsung's magic, has no love for her "sister". Of course, Melena's pain cannot be relieved by her distorted face. Her face is covered with razor-sharp teeth due to Takatan DNA in her body. While this can be a distraction for many of her opponents, Melina uses it to her advantage. With a combination of strength, agility, and her unique hybrid powers, Melina has been a player favorite ever sinceher debutexistMortal Kombat 2.Her ferocious fighting style and somewhat uneven sanity make her dangerous, unpredictable, and deadly.
Although Mileena's "sister" Kitana will appear inMortal Kombat 11, the crazy and violent version of the fighter is gone in the new version. Considering how long Melena has been the protagonist of the series, it seems unlikely that her story will end inMortal Kombat X. Her exclusion from the latest game's core build is likely only temporary, with the developers keeping her around for special DLC purposes. But even if Melena ends up absentMortal Kombat 11, we can't imagine that she's gone forever.
Among the many adversaries found throughout theMortal KombatThe "Fist Crazy" series is one of the most famous series. His lack of loyalty to anyone but himself has made Quan Chi many enemies throughout the series. since he appeared inMortal Kombat 4, players find themselves in a love-hate relationship with the Necromancer. On the one hand, Quan Chi is very powerful, and when he reaches his full potential, he is almost unstoppable. But on the other hand, his villainy and bad faith make him an acquired taste at best.
Possibly the most powerful magician in the worldMortal KombatIn the game, it is a pity that Quan Chi will not appear in the main gameMortal Kombat 11. While his absence means there will be a different antagonist to focus on more fully, longtime fans of the series will be saddened to see him left out. Given his interesting backstory and characterization, the wizard will be missing out on a lot of opportunities for character development in this new game.
Reptiles have always been the main characters in the gameMortal Kombatseries from the beginning. Although he is the secret character in the playMortal Kombat 1, he appears in the game more than many characters on the new game's roster. Reptilian often changes his character design, sometimes appearing in a human pose, other times in true reptilian form. No matter how different his character designs are, he can always be spotted with his signature green color scheme and otherworldly moves.
As a character who's always kowtowing to others and just trying to restore his home world to its former glory, it's odd that he didn't make an appearance in the original.Mortal Kombat 11Good for possibly enriching DLC. The Reptilian's zeal for achieving his ultimate goal (finding the last of his race) makes him a unique character because he doesn't seek power. Still, he's a formidable fighter beloved by players. he was excludedMortal Kombat 11Most likely that doesn't mean his character is completely over. His significant role on the team over the years suggests he will return. But we may not see him for a long time.
Shinnok is arguably the most feared and evil of all creaturesMortal Kombatgame. While he wasn't part of the core team involved with the series from the start, he has sinceMortal Kombat Mythology: Below Zero. sinnok mastered cunningandwitchcraft. His skills far surpass any other wizard in the game, and he poses a great threat to all other fighters due to the infinite evil he embodies. Shinnok is my favorite villainMortal KombatHe's been a fan for as long as he's been around.
While many of the series' other longtime protagonists may appear in DLC as playable characters, Shinnok may actually be absent from the game entirely as a playable character.Although he made a cameoexistMortal Kombat 11, Shinnok is the main focusMortal Kombat X, so he could have a big moment in the limelight in that installment. While Shinnok is almost certain to appear in the futureMortal KombatPossibility of making him a real playable character in a larger gameMK11It looks slim. Players can only look forward to his surprise return in the near future.
Takeda Takahashi is another who has been affectionately labeled "Kombat Kids" by fans.Mortal Kombatseries. With Kenshi as father and Suchin as mother, Takeda was destined to join the ranks of the samurai.Mortal KombatRoster of combatants. However, unlike Casey Cage and Jacqui Briggs, Takeda wasn't necessarily "born"Mortal Kombatworld. Swordsman actually didn't know about Takeda's existence for years because his mother, Su Chin, kept the secret from him. But when Suchin gives his life to save his son, the paths of Takeda and Kenshi are tied.
Takeda Takahashi is a relatively new fighterMortal Kombatscene, only inMortal Kombat X. and when heCameoTakeda will be absent as a playable character in the latest fighting series. Since he is relatively new in this fieldMKIn-universe, many longtime fans of the series might not even notice that he's been left out. With a plethora of exciting playable characters in the latest game's lineup, the developer might have thought Takeda would be white noise. But given the positive reception he received from fans in his first game, missing out on further developments is a bit frustrating for him.
night wolves are introducedMortal Kombat 3As a playable character, it has made a lasting impression ever since. One of the most recognizable Native American video game characters in an industry woefully underrepresented by Native Americans, Nightwolf stands out among them.MKwarrior. Night Wolf fights strictly on the side of good, using his spirituality to aid him in his fight.
Because Night Wolves are only considered NPCs in the gameMortal Kombat X, rather than a playable character, the absence of Fighting Chance from the latest entry is unsurprising. But with his physicality and the positive impact he represents on the fan base, it's a shame we won't be seeing him again anytime soon. The bow and arrows he summons with his shaman ability are very useful in combat.
Like many other characters who are excluded from active dutyMortal Kombat 11, ShevaCameoin the game. Because Sheva has been the mainstay of the team since thenMK3, it's unclear why she isn't listed as a fighter in the latest game. Shiva is a playable character in nearly every entry she appears in, with only one solo appearance as a boss.
Like other four-armed members of her race, Shiva possesses brute strength and impressive physical prowess. Her common combat tactics include the ability to teleport stomp and summon fireballs. But unlike Goro and Kintaro, who are also of the Shokan race, Sheeva can use her stomp ability without teleporting first, giving her an advantage over other fighters. Although she will guestMK11, we can only hope that Sheeva is introduced as a playable character later on.
debuted inMortal Kombat 3Sindel has long been a complex character in fighting franchises. Sindel is one of the first evil characters to eventually turn good, and she doesn't have the sharp and lighthearted attitude of the other fighters. Since Sindel is a member of the royal family and mother to Kitana, she has long been a target of the country's rulers.MKuniverse.
Although Sindel made a number of appearances in the series, she only appeared inMKX, which favors Kitana, who plays a prominent role. But unlike Kitana, Kitana has returned as a playable characterMK11, Schindel will be sadly absent from the new title. This exclusion is unfortunate for players looking forward to skinning their opponents. There's always the possibility that her character will be saved for more important content in the future. With his memorable finishing ability and unique presence on the team, Schindel will likely return in some capacity.
Like Reptile, Smoke started out as a secret character in Reptile.Mortal KombatPops up out of the universe to give players clues on how to find him, then disappears again. In his early iterations, Smoke was just a palette swap for the other ninjas in the game. But his superior speed and teleportation ability make him a favorite of many gamers. Although Smoke's character alternates back and forth between his robotic avatar and his human appearance, the signature smoke surrounding him remains his defining characteristic.
existMortal Kombat X, Smoke appears in two capacities: as an NPC and as a Triborg variant. Since he didn't appear in a fully playable state, it may come as no surprise to many fans that he won't be in the game.MK11. If the developer's trend is to be followed, it looks like many of the characters that appeared in non-playable form in later games will eventually be replaced by new fighters. But even if he's sidelined from the latest championship, his staying power on the team suggests we haven't quite seen the end of him yet.
Stryker has long been a unique player in the fieldMortal Kombatseries. As one of the most "mortal" fighters players can control, his abilities are unique on Earth. Stryker is a cop who uses guns, batons, tasers and grenades in battle. While this may seem relatively boring compared to hyperspeed and teleportation, his weapons do give him a unique range that most combatants don't have. His character also underwent major design changes during his lifetime in the series. Stryker has gone from a disheveled cop to something more serious and intimidating.
Although Stryker appears as a playable character inMortal Kombat(2011), he onlyMortal Kombat X. Just like Smoke and the other fighters who don't have playable roles in "Medium"MKX, Stryker has been excluded from the battle listMK11common. But like other characters who didn't make it into the final cut, it's likely we'll see Stryker again in some capacity. Even if this ability isn't necessarily a playable character.
